Lena Michelle Photography: Rachel + Austin Bridals and Wedding Highlights

The first thing I noticed as Rachel and Austin came into their consultation was how much they glowed. They both radiate this blinding happiness that makes your heart melt just watching them. I walked away thinking, “Wow. I seriously just want to hang out and be friends with them!”

Imagine my excitement and how thrilled to pieces I was to get Rachel’s call that they had chosen me to photograph their beautiful wedding!

Photographing their gorgeous bridals was an adventure! The weather was perfect and we were heading up the canyon. Austin, Christine, my assistant, and myself went ahead of Rachel to scope out our location. We had been in the woods a few minutes when a young man came running through looking for the groom that belonged to the lost bride. When I went to find her and bring her to our party, we discovered that Jon Heder of Napoleon Dynamite, and his two brothers were the gentleman that saved our bride, who had been frantically wondering around on her own. What a fun memory!

The wedding day started off with a forecast of thunder storms, but our prayers were answered! It was a gorgeous day filled with family, friends, laughter and love. Every detail was breathtakingly beautiful! And of course, we had more adventures! Between running into an LDS apostle outside the temple, and the lawn sprinklers going off during the reception, we had a crazy, wonderful, perfect day!

I have come to think of Rachel and Austin as dear friends, and I completely fell in love with the whole family! I wanted to keep them all! Rachel and Austin, thank you so much for allowing me the honor and pleasure of being apart of your special day! Congratulations! I wish you all the love and happiness in the world as you start this life long journey together!!

xoxo
